Spring Into Fashion

A few weeks ago I was invited to the Village Hotel in Cheadle to attend a very special fashion show in aid of St. Ann's Hospice. Hosted by Key 103's Chelsea Norris, various local clothing and accessory brands showcased their products in a very stylish runway show.

St. Ann's Hospice is the largest in Greater Manchester and helps around 3,000 patients who are affected by cancer or other life limiting illnesses every year. They operate across 3 sites and in patients' homes to provide 24/7 support, all free of charge.

This fabulous fundraising ladies-only event featured a glass of bubbly on arrival, canapes, a table of sweets, live music by The Midnight Cats, and lots of brands showcasing their work. My lovelies at Ed's Hair & Beauty were there working their magic and created a fantastic braided up-do for me to wear on the night.

Other attractions included Wish Upon a Sparkle's makeup station, mani & eyebrow stations, the best rum cake in the world by Cathryn Halpin (yes, you can quote me on that), and lots of stalls by Body Performance Training, Arbonne, Divine Interiors & Gifts, Smashglam, Fizz Fashion, and many many more.

Towards the end of the event, Chelsea hosted a raffle prize draw with some amazing gifts, with all proceeds going towards St. Ann's Hospice. By the end of the night, the audience had raised over £1,000 for this great cause - well done everyone!

Fundraising events are probably my favorite to attend and blog about. If you want to know how to get involved and donate to yet another great cause, send me an email, Facebook/Twitter message, or leave a comment below. Please keep in mind that St. Ann's Hospice needs to raise about £16,000 every day so that their specialized staff can provide the highest quality of care to people who really need it!
