8 Photos of Happiness Tag

Dolphins in zoo

Thank you Michelle for the nomination. From what I understand this is a very recent tag, and I love the idea behind its creation - to share with others moments that make you happy.

The rules are simple:

1. Thank your nominator/s and link them in your post.
3. Post your 8 photos of happiness - the photos can be anything that represents a moment, object, place or feeling that makes you happy.
4. Pop in a brief description of the photo, why you chose it or just let the photos do the talking!
5. Spread the happiness and tag up to ten other bloggers!

This post was a little difficult for me to complete as my laptop was stolen less than a year ago and I lost most of my saved pictures. But here are the eight I picked out of the ones I managed to save and some new ones I took over the year:

View from the London Eye

1. I took this photo 3 years ago on my first ever visit to London and the UK. I immediately fell in love in the city, but London also scared me a bit. Now, I am happy to say that I will be moving there in just 2 days!

PS: Even though I am moving there soon, London still scares me.

2. This picture was taken on a family day out to the Lisbon Zoo. When we are not arguing, my family is OK I guess... Only joking! I am so happy to have such a supportive family who have my back no matter what.

Dog walking

3. This picture was originally part of an OOTD post. I can't help but smile every time I look at it - it reminds me of home (Portugal), my family, and all the beautiful places around my hometown of Sintra.

Three girls

4. This picture was taken on a night out with my lovely blogger friends Anna and Nina. It makes me happy to think about all the amazing people I met through blogging and all the amazing experiences and opportunities I had since setting up my blog. Meeting amazing like-minded people is one of the reasons why I want to keep blogging once I move to London.

Berlin wall

5. This picture is from one of the best birthday gifts ever - a trip to Germany with a very special someone. It reminds me of how lucky I am to have such incredible people in my life who will go the extra mile for me.

Bowling sculpture

6. I took this picture just 2 weeks ago during my visit to The Netherlands. It makes me happy to think that I have friends all over the world who give me a great excuse to travel.

Pole fitness

7. This picture reminds me of all the challenges I set myself - and it makes me happy to think that I have kept up with all of them so far. When I moved to Manchester to attend Uni, I wanted to do something I had never even though of doing before, so I joined the Pole Fitness society and in this picture we are rocking our first public performance.

8. The submission of my final-year dissertation represents the culmination of my academic achievement so far. I am lucky to have had the chance to have spent the last 3 years in Manchester studying in a top Business School and it makes me happy to know that next week I will be graduating with First Class Honours.

Again, I turn to some of my new blog discoveries for my nominations. They are:

Can't wait to see your posts, ladies!
