Taco Tuesdays

Old El Paso range

In true Taco Tuesday style and just in time for Dia de los Muertos celebrations, myself and a few other lucky bloggers headed down to the trendy Food at 52 Cookery School for a night of cooking with Old El Paso, as the brand re-launched its Stand 'N' Stuff Soft Taco Kits.

Tortilla chips and dips

After a reception of tortilla chips and margaritas, we had a great demonstration by the Old El Paso team pros on how to make the perfect stuffing for the Stand 'N' Stuff tortillas. We had both a veggie and a meat option, but I fell in love with combining the two in a tasty flavorful, taco.

After the demo, it was our turn to get hands on with the product. My team was in charge of the meat dish, which turned out to be surprisingly hassle-free due to the fact that the Soft Taco Kits already come with all the seasonings in all the right measures.

There are three Soft Taco Kits in the range:

Smoky BBQ includes a delicious Smoky BBQ Seasoning Mix and a scrummy Taco Salsa - everything you need to create a meal that everyone will love.

Extra Mild Super Tasty combines a Cool Herb Topping Mix with a delicious extra mild Tomato Stir-In Sauce, giving a flavor sensation without the heat!

Garlic & Paprika includes a mouth-watering Garlic & Paprika Seasoning Mix and delightful Taco Salsa to create a tasty dish inspired by Mexican flavors.

The range also includes a pack of eight flour Tortillas for you to pack full of your favorite ingredients. These provide the perfect base for you to get creative in the kitchen, cooking up your own taco-style dishes. I tried to recreate the dish we prepared on the night at home, but I couldn't remember what vegetables were used. No problem! These taste amazing no matter what stuffing you pick, so just grab some of your favorite ingredients and create your very own dish.

Taco, Dia de los muertos
