Holiday Outfit

For my first real holiday of 2016, I jetted off to Italy to explore the Eternal City of Rome. Running in and out of small streets, we explored everything from the Trevi Fountain to (in our opinion) the best lasagna in town.

One of the highlights of the trip was our stop at the Colosseum, the largest amphitheater ever built. I had a great time walking around the amphitheater grounds, learning all about the gladiator fights, plays, and even reenactments of sea battles that took place in the Imperial Roman period.

The city itself is beautiful, but needs taking care of. The well-preserved historical sites and monuments are breathtaking, but the rest of the city if covered in bad graffiti. I was sad to see that it was common practice for people to carve their names into the walls of historical sites such as the Pantheon :(

That day I was dressed almost head-to-toe in items snatched up at DressLink, including my dress(*), headband(*), shoulder bag(*) and ring(*)

    1. Thank you! I thought the color was very Spring-appropriate when I picked it out (although we were unlucky with the weather in Rome). Hope you get some time for a holiday abroad soon! xx

    1. Thank you! I think you will love Rome then, because every single restaurant is Italian. Still detoxing from all the pasta and pizza :) Xx
